Ancillary Task - Album cover (Back Cover) - Draft 1

As shown above is the back cover of my digipak. I have once again used the protagonist from the video on the cover. He is presented in a sad, lonely manor, resulting in the viewers to feel sympathy towards the artists, also providing them with in sight as to what genre of music the artist is categorised (shown through the clothing, hair, body language...etc). Due to his body language and facial expression, this provides the viewers with a brief idea as to what the songs on the album may be written about - which in this case are about personal emotions and experiences.

Class Comments;

After showing my colleagues and media teacher my finished draft, they came to agree that the image is composed well, however they spotted that I have not mentioned the bonus material included with the digipak - making an album back cover rather than a digipak back cover. The backgound image is also to vibrant, resulting in a weak contrast between both the test and the image. As a result of this, I will reduce the contrast and brightness of the background image, making the photo deem darker and less vibrant. I will also make the written text at the bottom of the cover bolder, and more compact to make it more readable from the viewers perspective.
